Refund policy

We want you to love your gear. If something isn’t right, here’s how returns, refunds, and exchanges work.


Return Windows

  • Consumer drones, cameras, accessories
    • Unopened / Non-activated: 30 days from delivery
    • Manufacturing defect: 15 days from delivery
  • Enterprise / Agriculture drones – Not eligible for return or refund. Warranty only (handled through manufacturer).
  • Digital goods, activation codes – Non-returnable.
  • Open-Box items, repair parts, consumables – Final Sale (unless Dead-on-Arrival reported within 7 days).

Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • Include the original receipt/invoice.
  • Product must be in the same condition as received, with all packaging, manuals, and accessories.
  • Aircraft must be unbound from your DJI account/app (if applicable).
  • Items that are incomplete, damaged, or account-bound may be refused.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Enterprise & Agriculture drones
  • Digital download codes, DJI Care / Enterprise Shield, activation licenses
  • Gift cards, prepaid cards
  • Repair parts & solder-on components
  • Open-Box items (unless DOA)
  • Consumables once opened (batteries, film packs, PPE, inks, liquids)
  • Items damaged by misuse, crashes, liquid ingress, fire, flood, or unauthorized modification
  • Products with missing or tampered serial numbers

Restocking Fee

  • 15% fee applies to opened, non-defective items returned within 30 days.
  • No fee on sealed-box returns or verified defective items.

How to Start a Return (RMA Required)

  • Email contact@flyhwy.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  • Write the RMA number clearly on the box (3 sides).
  • Use sturdy packaging (anti-static bag, bubble wrap, corrugated box).
  • Do not use envelopes. Items returned without an RMA or poorly packed will be refused.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Verified manufacturing defect – We provide a prepaid label.
  • Unopened / buyer’s remorse – Customer pays shipping both ways.
  • Enterprise drones – Customer ships directly to manufacturer.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item is confirmed defective.


Refunds & Exchanges

  • Inspection: 3–5 business days after we receive your item.
  • Refunds: issued within 5 business days to the original payment method.
  • Bundles: If you keep part of a discounted bundle, the refund = (bundle price – regular price of kept items). Bonus/free items must also be returned.
  • Exchanges: offered only for verified defective items.

Late or Missing Refunds

  • Check your bank or credit card statement.
  • Contact your bank or card issuer (processing delays are common).
  • Still no refund? Email us at contact@flyhwy.com.

Undeliverable or Refused Shipments

Packages returned to us as undeliverable (wrong address, refused delivery, or unclaimed) will be:

  • Refunded minus outbound + return carrier costs, or
  • Re-shipped after you cover a second shipping fee.
